My 2 year old daughter has a very itchy rash containing small red bumps on her torso, under armpits and palms of hands. She has not been ill and has no other symptoms.
Toddler Skin Rash by: Ingrid From Toddlers Are Fun
Hello and thank you for your question. It sounds to me like your toddler has a heat rash. Heat Rash is a common cause for torso rash in toddlers, this condition is the outcome of a persons sweat ducts becoming blocked and consequently perspiration getting trapped under ones skin.
Even if the weather is not extremely hot outside, your toddler may be getting over heated. I would allow her to walk around the house in just a diaper and sleep with no clothes on until the rash clears up. Cool baths and light clothing when needed. Has she been exposed to heat lately?
Thanks,
Ingrid
